Discover the transformative journey of Renae, a trailblazer in equine- welfare and advocacy. Renae's remarkable career began, where she played a pivotal role in rehabilitating off-the-track standardbreds and championed the "life after racing" campaign alongside Olympic Gold Medalist Gillian Rolton, Harness Racing Australia Executives, Horse SA and Racing Australia. Her dedication led to the creation of welfare officers and endorsements for off-the-track thoroughbreds.
Despite facing personal challenges overcoming domestic violence and cyber-bullying, Renae has emerged as a beacon of resilience, channeling her passion into mental health advocacy and academic pursuits in counselling and psychology. With experience in Disability Employment Services and compliance, Renae has established a thriving business in the disability sector.
Renae's journey comes full circle with the inception of Hooves of Hope, an innovative equine therapy centre nestled in Adelaide's north. As a licensed theory practitioner of acclaimed author Sue Spence's Horses Helping Humans Program Hooves of Hope offers this groundbreaking program in conjunction with tailored employment initiative for neurodivergent individuals in the equestrian and racing sectors.
At Hooves of Hope, Renae's vision of holistic healing and empowerment takes flight. Through programs like PTSD recovery and racehorse rehabilitation, she continues to redefine what's possible, one hoofbeat at a time. Join us in embracing Renae's legacy of compassion, resilience, and equine-assisted transformation.
